Byron completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) in 2005 with a depth study in Biomechanics and then attained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UAB in 2008. Since then, he has completed additional coursework through multiple post-graduate therapy institutes, including the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and the Institute of Physical Art (IPA). He has also completed a certification in orthopedic manual therapy (COMT), trigger-point dry needling, and he more recently completed a 3-year Fellowship with NAIOMT. Byron has published a book, Memorize Muscle, Origins, and Insertions which is a study guide for healthcare students and professionals. He enjoys hiking, camping, and social dancing, and he is active in Huntsville’s salsa and lindy hop swing dancing communities. Because he enjoys being active himself, he loves using hands-on therapy and skilled exercises to enable people to return to an active lifestyle and doing the things that they love.
